I think a reason why I loved Physics at school was because they had these stories of old physicists (Rutherford and all) trying to figure out how the world worked. Along with Physics, it was a history lesson too.
I’m reading a biography of Marie Curie right now.

@sajal24x7 My favourite lecture at university was History of Physics. The professor who held that course, Wolfgang Rößler, has also written a book containing a collection of anecdotes about famous physicists, which I cannot recommend enough. Only problem: The book is only available in German.
