On the frozen sea, rests
A wooden horse, burning - crowds walk past.
A fire truck waits in tow.
Thick fog rolls over
green grass. Lights twinkle.
A dog barks somewhere.
Long black strands,
A skull, tied to a branch.
Someone left it there.
Full moon, up in the sky.
Hiding behind waves of clouds.
They cut down tall grass.
Red light under bridge.
Two basket-ball hoops and two men.
We walk away quickly.
Gray skies abound.
Yellow trees dot the landscape.
A tram runs through.
Circles in puddles.
Rain drops fall on ground -
like chirping insects.
All the leaves are gone.
What remains - red fruit on branches.
And light on bark.
Finding moments,
In between bigger moments.
I breathe a little.
Dark outside still.
Blue light blinks incessantly.
Purple flowers bloom.
Goddess on stage,
Women dancing in a circle.
Snap a picture!
Temperature drops suddenly.
We are driving back home.
Something putters away.
Cold water hisses.
Hot stone turns damp.
I sit breathing.
Sky awash in purple.
Is it a northern light show?
No, it needs darkness.
Week in bed,
Felt great to step out.
Strong wind blows.
A long day,
Comes to an end soon.
New day begins.
Yellow leaves everywhere,
Beneath my feet getting trampled,
Fluttering on trees.
Like home-work
I put my pen away
Close the diary.
