Zettelkasten

“Slip-box”

Kasten —> chest/box

It was developed by Niklas Luhmann, who gave credit for his extensive output to his Zettlekasten.

The idea being that over time, ideas coalesce and evolve from tiny notes, worked upon consistently. Read about it here first - Introduction to the Zettelkasten Method.

It forms a base line for my system of taking notes - Evergreen and otherwise.
