Review
I picked this up because it showed up as recently added in the e-library. I liked the cover and it was a Indian author. Next I saw that it was a poetry collection and I could finish it between waiting for Cat’s Cradle to be available.
It is a nice collection of poems. Amit writes poems about the strong women in his life. The two poems about things his grandmother said were my favourites. The last poem in the book - about us being like poems - was memorable as well.
It is a wonderful collection of poems. It does not demand too much. It is a easy recommendation.

I finished reading Things my grandmother said this week. It is a nice book of poetry written by an Indian guy - Amit Majmudar. I picked this up because of it's cover and the fact that the writer was Amit. When I saw this was a poetry collection, I started reading it immediately.
