England won. You don't usually get free scoring games like this in the World Cup. Teams set up more defensive usually. I knew after that first half everyone will say the same thing - why did Tuchel not start Rashford and Saka in that game against Argentina? Who knows?
I think in games that matter, coaches are happy winning 1-0.

A little sad about the match yesterday. England had started well, as had Argentina to be honest. But then England went full on defensive. It was only a matter of time once that happened.

Reminded me of how ManU used to play.

It did not end 1-0.
France were playing well, in fact, more likely to score till that penalty was awarded to Spain. After that they never looked like they were in the game.
Now, to the next one.

The France vs Morocco match was pretty boring. France are just that better. Hoping for a more entertaining Spain vs Belgium today.

Michael Carrick has the light touch Manchester United need for next chapter | Jonathan Liew

The reason Carrick should get the job has little to do with tactics or dogma or optics or even short-term results. Indeed it is his very lack of overt branding, his refusal to indulge in grand theory, that is perhaps his greatest asset. In his autobiography – wherein the fish anecdote is related – Carrick also reveals his obsession with tidiness. When he gets into a hotel room, the little notepad needs to be put in a drawer, brochures and room service menus cleared away. Books on a table need to be left straight, not at an angle. At home, pans have to be washed up before dinner can be eaten.

The reason why not - as has been mentioned in the article itself - is you feel burnt by the Solskjær appointment.
