MSFT AI User group event at Nitor
Back at the Nitor office. At this point I feel like I should create a tag for Nitor.

Tero Niemi - Copilot Studio Lite

Tero was up first. He talked about building and using lite agents in Copilot. He showcased a couple of agents he was already using at work, using them to think and give differing points of views on subjects. He talked about the importance of continuous learning and training in organisations.
Vesa Tikkanen - Embeddings

Vesa was up next. From the moment he had said Hello, I was wondering where had I seen him before. Not just seen, because there are a few people I keep seeing at these events, but rather heard speak. By the time his talk was over, I had looked him up in my notes and found out that he was one of the organisers/speakers during the global AI bootcamp at the MSFT office.
From his talk, I learnt about a new thing - Embeddings. They are the knowledge behind your data.
Embeddings enable models to find similar things in your data. Traditional search might be super slow in a vast data sets. With the help of vectors, we can find out similar things.
Most of the talk was things I did not know. But I loved how Vesa explained the concepts.
Also he proved that Excel is not a DB, by using vector search. It was funny! You had to be there.
